Showcase cutting-edge water technologies at the Digital Solutions Pavilion and Start-up Pavilion

With SMART utility as a key focus for SIWW 2020, the Water Expo will feature the Digital Solutions Pavilion and Start-up Pavilion on Level 1. We welcome digital and smart solutions providers as well as start-ups to showcase their technologies at these Pavilions, where they can expect to reach out to over 24,000 trade visitors and delegates.

These Pavilions will complement the Pavilion by PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency, which will showcase the comprehensive suite of urban water solutions adopted in Singapore.

We are inviting digital solutions providers to participate in the Water Expo! Digital and smart solutions, including data analytics, sensors, robotics and artificial intelligence, are creating unprecedented opportunities for cities, utilities and businesses to address water challenges. With smart and digital water utilities as a key theme of SIWW 2020, this Pavilion will feature the latest transformative digital technologies and applications across the water value chain, and smarter approaches to manage water systems.

Xylem opens multi-disciplinary centre in Singapore

SIWW congratulates Xylem on the expansion of its regional headquarters in Singapore with the new Xylem Technology Hub Singapore (XTHS), launched on 8 January 2020. The centre’s research focuses on developing breakthrough technologies in water distribution and water and wastewater treatment, through collaborations with PUB and A*STAR.

“Singapore is an internationally recognised model city for integrated water management and a thriving global hydrohub because of our strong belief in R&D and continuous innovation to tackle current and future water challenges,” said Mr Ridzuan Ismail, Director, Water Supply (Network), PUB. “We are happy to work with Xylem to develop novel water solutions to enable IoT and data analytics to enhance our water network management. For instance, with predictive maintenance, we can achieve better resource optimisation and extend asset life of the infrastructures, thereby reducing water loss and strengthening the resilience of our water supply.”
